  • 1. How to ride Spero?
    • You can ride Spero in three different ways.
    • a) Purely mechanical: Pedal like a normal cycle.
    • b) Ride with PAS: A fine blend of Human and electrical effort; Motor supports you in pedaling and makes your pedaling effortless.
    • c) Purely Electrical: Just twist the throttle and speed up your ride.
  • 2. Can I ride spero in Rain?
    • Yes! Spero ebikes are weather proof.
  • 3. Do I need a license to ride Spero?
    • No. You don’t need to own a license or register Spero bike to ride.
  • 4. Is the battery pack detachable?
    • Yes! You can detach the battery pack, carry and charge at your convenience.
  • 5. Does pedaling with PAS boost mileage?
    • Yes, during pedal assist strain on the battery and motor will be very less, so battery drains slowly.
  • 6. What is the cost of running a Spero ebike?
    • Power consumption for full charge of battery will be less than 1 unit of electricity.
  • 7. Where can I test drive Spero?
    • Book an appointment online to test drive the Spero model of your choice at Spero office or selected dealer’s location.
  • 8. Does pedaling with Regenerative braking boost mileage?
    • Energy lost while braking is stored in the battery where it can be used later to drive the Spero a few extra miles.
  • 9. What are the add-on accessories that can be fixed in my Spero?
    • Spero is built with standard parts and any accessories which can be fitted in regular cycle can be fitted in Spero.

  • 1. What type of battery powers Spero ebikes?

    48V Li-ion battery.

  • 2. How long does it take to full charge a Spero battery pack?

    5-6 hours for full charge using a standard Spero charge which come along your Spero. Quick charger is aviliable for you to purchase. Quick charger will take 1.5-2hrs for full charge

  • 3. What is the lifespan of the battery pack?

    Lifespan of the Spero battery pack will be 1000 - 2000 charge cycle. *warranty is covered for 600 charge cycle or 2years which ever is earlier

  • 4. What is the mileage range I can get from a single charge?

    Mileage ranges from 30km to 120 km per charge. (depending on purchased model)

  • 5. Is battery pack detachable?

    Yes, detachable and portable battery packs can be easily handled & charged.

  • 6. Can I charge the battery over night?

    Yes, Spero battery can be charged over night, comes with an automatic cut-off.

  • 7. Can I get a spare battery pack?

    Yes, you can purchase battery pack as desired from Spero authorized partners

Service FAQ

  • 1. How often does Spero require maintenance?

    General check up & maintenance once in every 3 months.

  • 2. What are the daily/Monthly maintenance checkups I should perform?

    Basic maintenance of Mechanical parts like Frames, tyres, chains and brake pads can be done on your own or at any cycle shops. Electrical parts don’t require any maintenance.

    Spero service is classified as mechanical and electrical

    Mechanical Issue

    All Mechanical parts like tyres, chains and brake pads are made as per global standards. You can service your Spero for any mechanical issues at any cycle shop following global standards.

    Electrical Issue

    Electrical parts service has to be performed strictly by Spero service team or through authorized Spero service partner. Battery pack can be serviced only at Spero facility considering the level of service.

  • 5. Where can I get spare parts for replacements?

    You can order the spares online at Spare and accessories page of Spero websites. You can get spares from the selected dealers in your region.
